Our take
MC Electrical combines solar and battery installations with a substantial technical blog written by its owner. This Brisbane solar installation firm publishes a current team roster spanning engineering, sales, installation and service. Reviews describe detailed property assessments and clear explanations, with some noting a wait for installation. Ask about lead times and make sure monitoring, backup requirements and future expansion are addressed in the proposed design.

Who will you deal with?
Mark Cavanagh is identified on the team page as owner, manager and electrician. Wendy Cavanagh handles employee relations, while named technical and service staff support the installation business. Reviews mention Mark during advice and Yorick during a property assessment. You may therefore work with several specialists rather than Mark alone. Ask who will design, install and support your particular system.

The entire procedure from researching, booking and installation was smooth. The…

Their design support and responsiveness were excellent, and the finished work is great. What really stood out was how they handled a quoting error on their end they owned it straight away and absorbed the cost without any fuss. That…
