Our take
Tide Constructions builds custom homes and undertakes renovations from its Wakerley base. Its services include architectural homes, lift and build projects, character homes and work on sloping or small blocks. A published team structure separates construction management, project management and operations. The company’s own building articles cover practical design choices for Brisbane’s climate, making it relevant to homeowners planning a tailored project with challenging site conditions.

Who will you deal with?
Jarryd Duffy is Tide’s director, with Adam Rigby heading construction management. Justin Dawson, Jacob Eden and Roberto Kozlowski are listed as project managers, while Kelly Woodrow manages operations and Liz Jeppesen handles accounts and administration. These roles suggest several people may support your build. Ask which project manager will be assigned to your home and how site and office updates will be coordinated.

From design to completion the project spanned 3 years, with the actual build taking 18 months. We can't recommend Tide Constructions highly enough. They assisted in the design process, working with Anthony from Synergy,…
Professional from start to finish. We have worked with Tide twice now, having done two large renovations for us several years apart. Each time they have delivered a high quality build, stuck to schedule and have been extremely well organized with consistently good communication throughout. Particularly beneficial are the solutions that are offered to work around different problems as they crop up (unavoidable in any…

After a rocky start to our planned knock down re build, we met with Jarryd (the third builder we'd spoken to) and immediately felt comfortable with his approach. From day one, Jarryd and the team helped us to navigate the design and build process with full transparency and communication along the way. Despite building through a period of high uncertainty following…
