Our take
Urban Design Solutions brings interior selections and documentation into a broader residential building design service. Its Carina studio offers help ranging from limited advice to detailing an entire home, with colours, fixtures, finishes and landscape design considered together. This is a useful fit when a renovation or new home needs coordinated building and interior decisions. Ask how much standalone interior design work is included in your proposed scope.

Who will you deal with?
Director and senior building designer Dave Russell leads the practice. The current team page also names building designer Lucia Laus and Pooja Kumar, the office administrator and junior interior designer. It describes Pooja as a front of house contact with interior design training and experience in administration and drafting. Contract drafters and external consultants provide further support, so confirm which designer would take responsibility for your interiors brief.
